So here we are with the Unboxing & Review of the latest machine available from Tronsmart The Vega S95 Telos that features the new Amlogic S905, the Pentacore Mali 450 GPU, 2GB DDR3 Ram and 16GB of eMMC Flash Storage with Android Lollipop 5.1.1
I benchmarked the Tronsmart Vega S95 with:
– Disk Speed Test, Antuntu, Geekbench 3, Network Speed Test, 3D Mark Score & Epic Citadel.
Tested the Tronsmart Vega S95 with:
– Big Buch Buny, Tears of Steal and Sintel Movies with H264 and H265 Codecs at 1080p and 4K resolutions without any problems whatsoever.
– To test out 10 Bit playback capability i run 2 sample movies from Samsung, The Iceland and Dive Into The New World, both Ultra HD 10 bit video and the Vega S95 played everything just perfect.
The app included is the Vidom XBMC based on Kodi.
In terms of Android gaming platform the S95 is capable of playing the most demanding games and the ones tested were Respawnables and Asphalt 8 Airborn.
Also capable of Game Stream at 1080p resolution and 60FPS.
Airplay was also very smooth, used Air Pin Pro App which is a paid premium app but my favorite and totally worth it and i could mirror the Iphone 4S and the Ipad Mini with Retina Display and stream content from it.
I also mirrored the Imac that delivers a higher bit rate files and played live slide shows from it and also a apple event and no issues once again.
Things I did Like The Most:
– Online Updates
– Fast Ethernet Speeds
– Capable of Game Stream at 1080 60fps
Things i Did Like The Least:
– So far Nothing
