So its no secret that i love the MX Line up of Android TV Boxes and having tested and reviewed the MX III, MX IV, MX IV Telos and MX V on the past, i had to review the MX Max and share it with the community

This is my review of the MX Max Android TV Box that features the new Amlogic S905 Cpu, the Pentacore Mali 450, 2gB of DDR3 Ram and 16GB of Flash Storage with Android Loliipop 5.1.1

I benchmarked the MX Max with:
– Disk Speed Test, Antuntu, Geekbench 3, Network Speed Test, 3D Mark Score & Epic Citadel.

Tested the MX Max with:
– Big Buch Buny, Tears of Steal and Sintel Movies with H264 and H265 Codecs at 1080p and 4K resolutions without any problems whatsoever.
– To test out 10 Bit playback capability i run 2 sample movies from Samsung, The Iceland and Dive Into The New World, both Ultra HD 10 bit video and the U1 played everything just perfect.

In terms of Android gaming platform the MX Max is capable of playing the most demanding games and the ones tested were Respawnables and Asphalt 8 Airborn.

Also capable of Game Stream at 1080p resolution and 60FPS.

Airplay was also very smooth, used Air Pin Pro Premium App not included with the MX Max and i could mirror the Iphone 4S and the Ipad Mini with Retina Display and stream content from it.
I also mirrored the Imac that delivers a higher bit rate files and played live slide shows from it and also a apple event and no issues once again.

Things I did Like The Most:
– Design
– Online Updates
– Root From Factory
– Capable of Game Stream at 1080 60fps

Things i Did Like The Least:
– So far Nothing
